The site conditions for planning the construction of new nuclear power plants are becoming increasingly complex.During the construction of their water discharge tunnels,it is necessary to comprehensively consider the impacts of soft soil, high water pressure, and the implementation of the water discharge outlet in order to reasonably plan tunnel routes and select structural schemes in the early stages. Therefore,an engineering analogy method has been adopted to investigate and study similar projects, comparing and selecting different tunnel burial depths and lining structure schemes.Measures were proposed to address some factors that affect the construction of the Xiapu Nuclear Power Plant drainage tunnel project, and a construction plan was determined based on this, laying the foundation for the smooth progress of the project construction.
