Research on lightning protection method of composite insulators for 35kV overhead distribution line
In this paper,the lightning protection method of composite insulators for 35kV overhead distribution lines is studied.The shunt gap of composite insulators of 35kV overhead distribution line is set,and the lightning protection performance index of each gap under operation impact is calculated.According to the specific line conditions and soil conditions,choose the appropriate method to reduce the ground resistance of the tower.Install a lightning arrester at the key composite insulator to ensure that it has sufficient response speed and absorption capacity to lightning overvoltage.The experimental results show that the lightning protection method designed for 35kV overhead distribution line composite insulator has a maximum of 3 lightning trip times,which indicates that its lightning protection performance is good and practical.
