Research on the application of new renewable materials in the field of rural drinking water filtration
This paper investigates the application of new renewable materials in rural drinking water filtration.By analyzing the limitations of traditional materials such as activated carbon and comparing the performance of novel materials such as nanomaterials and polymer membranes, the paper explores the advantages of these materials in improving filtration efficiency and enhancing environmental sustainability. The study employs a case study approach, particularly with an application case in Tanzania,to demonstrate the effectiveness of the novel materials in practical applications. The results show that these novel materials are able to effectively deal with complex water quality problems such as high fluoride content while reducing costs and enhancing the environmental sustainability of the system.
