Causes and prevention measures of soil embankment leakage in water conservancy engineering technology
Soil embankments,as a key component of water resource management and water conservancy flood control engineering,have the characteristics of low cost and convenient construction.However,leakage issues pose a serious threat to their stability and flood control function.Based on this,this article first analyzes the causes of leakage problems,manifested in geological conditions,material selection,construction technology level,and later management.Subsequently,a series of prevention and control measures were proposed,including improving engineering geological conditions,strengthening material quality control,improving construction technology level,and emphasizing post maintenance management.The aim is to provide reference for relevant practitioners,thereby improving the stability and impermeability of soil embankments,and enhancing the sustainability and safety of water conservancy projects.
