Numerical study on hydrodynamic characteristics of shock waves induced by landslides in hydropower stations
To further understand the hydrodynamic characteristics of shock waves induced by landslides in hydropower stations, this paper uses FLOW3D simulation software to study the hydrodynamic characteristics of shock waves, and uses model experiments to further study the changes in lateral and longitudinal shock waves. The experimental results show that as the distance from the site increases, the height of the shock wave gradually decreases, and the minimum height of the shock wave is only 1.1cm.When the monitoring time is 4 seconds, the height value of the shock wave is basically negative. At locations y=-10cm,y=0cm,and y=10cm,the shock wave height is positive, while at locations y=20cm and y=30cm,the shock wave height after 4 seconds is negative, with a minimum shock wave height of-0.4cm.
