Study on coal seam characteristics in Shenjing West exploration area of Zhongwei Xiangshan coalfield,Ningxia
In order to analyze and study the coal seam development in Shenjing West exploration area,the plane characteristics analysis and comprehensive analysis of coal quality characteristics were carried out.The results show that the coal-bearing strata in the exploration area are Jurassic Middle Yan'an Formation,and there are 6 recoverable coal layers in the exploration area.Yan'an Formation is a continental sedimentary stratum dominated by terrigenous clastic rocks,which is divided into three rock segments.The thickness of coal seams in the western and northern parts of the survey area is large,and the thickness of coal seams in the southern and eastern parts is small,mainly thick-extremely thick coal seams,and the overall thickness is relatively stable.The macroscopic type of coal is mainly dark coal,and the microscopic type is microvitrinite.Coal is bituminous coal with low metamorphic degree,mainly non-stick coal,followed by long flame coal.Coal of low ash-medium ash,medium high volatile,extremely low sulfur-low sulfur,medium high-high calorific value coal.
