Abstract
Patients with medial foot pain may have flat feet.It is very common in clinic to operate on flat feet caused by accessory navicular bone(AN),but the correlation between the two is still controversial at present.Many scholars have adopted different methods to study their correlation.Among these methods,the research methods in imageology are more commonly used than others.But the conclusions on correlation analyzed using methods in imageology are still inconsistent.The purpose of this review is to summarize the current research status about imageology of AN,flat foot,and their correlation.We also analyze mechanical characteristics on the medial side of flat feet caused by AN.This review provides evidence in imageology for clinical doctors to study their correlation.
