New quality productive forces,centered on scientific and technological innovation,is an important means of raising total factor productivity and achieving high-quality economic development.As alternative way of improving total factor productivity,the construction of a unified domestic market creates conditions for the development of new productive forces through its optimal allocation in the economic cycle,and jointly promotes the process of high-quality economic development and the construction of a new domestic and international double-cycle pattern.This paper,from the perspective of the advantage of scale economy,shows the importance of using the scale effect to build a huge market for the construction of the economy,including new quality productive forces in the era of digital economy;secondly,this paper discusses the relationship between the construction of a unified domestic market and the development of new quality productive forces.A unified domestic market will strength the environment and space for the development of new quality productive forces and it also will get benefit from new quality productive forces in establishing a high-level unified domestic market.Based on this logic,this article proposes policy recommendations for building a unified national market and developing new quality productive forces in the current era,emphasizing the interrelationship between the two.
