Antibiotic pollution characteristics and risk assessment of surface water in Yongding River Mentougou District
Antibiotic pollution characteristics and risks in Mentougou District section of Yongding River(including the downstream of Guanting Reservoir, the main stream after the tributaries of Zaitang Reservoir converge, and the urban section)were evaluated by high performance liquid chromatography-tandem triple quadrupole mass spectrometry. The results showed that florfenicol, olsalazine, and sulfamethoxazole were detected in all three sections, with average concentrations of 4.95ng/L,2.56ng/L,and 13.96ng/L,respectively.Sulfapyridine was introduced from tributaries with a detection rate of 54%,and the concentration increased from 2.36ng/L to 4.06ng/L.The content of ofloxacin increased significantly in the urban section due to the impact of domestic sewage discharge, reaching a concentration of 7.93ng/L.Overall,there was no health risk in the Mentougou District section of Yongding River. However, after entering the urban section, the ecological and resistance risks increased, which may be due to the increase of human activity levels and requires further attention.
