The Course,Challenges and Optimized Path of Zhejiang Sea-Rail Transport Facing Modern Logistics System
Sea-rail transport was an important instruction made by Comrade Xi Jinping during his tenure as the Secretary of the Zhejiang Provincial Party Committee,based on the unique development conditions and geographical advantages of Zhejiang province.Since 2004,Zhejiang province has con-tinuously promoted the integrated development of ports and railway stations,the construction of transportation infrastructure,and the establishment of a hinterland intermodal transport network,thus opening a new chapter in sea-rail transport,entering a thriving fast lane of development,and contributing to the construction and improvement of modern logistics system.This article aims to re-view the development process of Zhejiang sea-rail transport over the past 20 years under the guidance of the"Double Eight Strategy",analyze the achievements and deficiencies,and make feasible sugges-tions for improving the quality,expanding the volume,and increasing the efficiency of Zhejiang sea-rail transport based on the summary of advanced experience and practices at home and abroad.We be-lieve that Zhejiang sea-rail transport should continue to make efforts in optimizing top-level design,strengthening infrastructure construction,innovating logistics mode,formulating unified standards,and leveraging price advantages so as to lay a solid foundation for the high-quality development of sea-rail transport and contribute Zhejiang's strength to step the national sea-rail transport onto a new lev-el.
