Study on the secondary metabolites from South China Sea deep-water-derived fungus Penicillium brocae SCSIO 05793
Objective To investigate the secondary metabolites of strain Penicillium brocae SCSIO 05793 and to identify the strain,a fungus isolated from South China Sea 500 m depth water. Methods The crude extracts were purified by comprehensive chromatography methods of silica gel column,Sephadex LH-20,Ostade-cylsilane (ODS) and semi-preparative HPLC and the structures of obtained compounds were elucidated by means of spectroscopic analysis, such as NMR,MS,OR etc.,together with physical and chemical properties, spectroscopic analysis and comparison with the reported literatures. Results Eight compounds were obtained from the rice static fermentation products, which were identified as cyclo(L-Pro-L-Leu) (1),cyclo-(L-pro-L-Ile) (2),cyclo(L-Pro-L-Phe) (3),cyclo(L-Pro-L-Tyr) (4),3,4-dihydroxy-acetophenone(5),4-hydroxy-benzal-dehyde(6),4-hydroxyacetophenone(7),p-hydroxyphenylacetic acid methyl ester(8).Conclusion Eight compounds were isolated from the strain Penicillium brocae.
