Falls primarily refer to an unintentional, involuntary, and sudden change in position, resulting in an individual landing on a surface or ground lower than their initial position.Numerous drugs are associated with falls, and the use of multiple drugs not only increases the risk of side effects but also elevates the incidence of falls.Drugs are significant modifiable factors that contribute to falls,as the type of drug, dosage of the drug, and combination of multiple drugs can all increase the risk. Therefore, strengthening preventive management and implementing proactive and effective strategies is essential for reducing both the severity of injuries and the overall incidence of falls.Based on this, this paper aims to review the research progress regarding the causes and related preventive strategies associated with different types of drugs.
