Correlation of TYG index, platelet parameters, serum CK-MB and major adverse cardiovascular events in patients with acute ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction
Objective:To study the correlation of triglyceride-glucose(TYG)index,platelet parameters, serum creatine kinase isozyme(CK-MB)level and major adverse cardiovascular events(MACE)in patients with acute ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction(STEMI).Methods A retrospective analysis was conducted on the 205 patients with STEMI who were admitted to the department of cardiology of the Third People's Hospital of Chengdu from February 2021 to February 2022.All patients were divided into two groups:the occurrence group(n=64)and the non-occurrence group(n=141)according to the presence or absence of MACE during 12 months follow-up.TYG index, platelet distribution width(PDW),mean platelet volume(MPV),CK-MB and the prognosis of STEMI were analyzed between two groups. Results Through univariate analysis and multivariate Logistic regression analysis, the results showed that diabetes history,CK-MB,PDW,MPV,TYG index and LVEF were independent risk factors for MACE in patients with STEMI(P<0.05).The receiver operating characteristic(ROC)curve analysis showed that the areas under the curves of CK-MB,PDW,MPV,and TYG index for predicting MACE were 0.828,0.621,0.728 and 0.825 respectively. Conclusion TyG index,PDW,MPV,and serum CK-MB level are correlated with the occurrence of MACE in patients with STEMI in this study.Assessing these measures would provide clinical benefits to patients with STEMI.
