Trauma is one of the common diseases in emergency room.It accounts for 10.1%of the global disease burden andis the main cause of deathpeople under the age of 45 in China.Post-traumatic sepsis is the release of damage-associated molecular patterns molecules(DAMPs)and other mediators caused by tissue injury, shock, immune dysfunction, hypoxia, stress and other reasons. It has a high incidence and mortality rate and is the main cause of death in the late period of trauma. Therefore, early diagnosis and treatment is an importantprerequisite for improving the prognosis of post-traumatic sepsis. However, inflammatory response syndrome and organ dysfunction often exist in the body after trauma, which can easily mask the occurrence of trauma sepsis. In the past 10 years, the research on markers for early diagnosis of post-traumatic sepsis has been one of the focuses of research. There is a lack of unified and recognized biomarkers for early diagnosis. In addition,it is difficult to accurately predict the occurrence of trauma sepsis relying on a certain plasma biomarker. This study reviews early plasma diagnostic biomarkers for post-traumatic sepsis to provide ideas for early warning diagnosis of post-traumatic sepsis.
