Objective To study and analyze the daily emergency dispatch work of non-medical professional dispatch personnel recruited from Beijing Emergency Medical Center in 2023,and to explore the importance of medical background in the daily dispatch and command work of pre-hospital emergency medical dispatch personnel. This will provide theoretical basis and accumulate experience for future work,in order to better promote the overall development of pre-hospital emergency work. Methods A retrospective analysis was conducted on 10 non-medical dispatch personnel recruited from Beijing Emergency Medical Center from April to September 2023 as the observation group, and 10 internal support medical professionals from Beijing Emergency Medical Center were randomly selected as the control group during the same period. The telephone reception task situation, work efficiency indicators, and dispatch ability of the two groups were collected for comparative analysis and research. Results There was a significant difference in age between the observation group and the control group; At the time of entry, the written test scores of the observation group were(84.40±5.02)points,while the control group was(92.30±2.16)points.There was a statistical difference between the two groups(P<0.05).In terms of the efficiency quality control indicators such as the amount of receiving and the number of car delivery, the two groups can complete it well without statistical difference(P<0.05).On the optimized dispatch rate, the observation group was lower than the control group, but in the analysis of the average dispatch time of the ventilator task, the observation group was significantly longer compared with the control group, with statistical differences between the two groups(P<0.05).Conclusion Non-medical professionals can independently undertake pre-hospital emergency dispatch work after training, but their dispatch ability is limited. Therefore,it is necessary to strengthen the simulation training and guidance of pre-hospital emergency knowledge, related processes, and policies to ensure the smooth implementation of pre-hospital emergency dispatch command work.
