A Review of Research on Theoretical Issues in My Country's Private Economy Since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China
Since the reform and opening up,the private economy has experienced development from small to large,from weak to strong,and has played an important role in the creation of the"Chinese economic miracle".However,this process was not smooth sailing but ran through conflicts and debates,ideological emancipation,and theoretical innovation.From the debate on"the state advances and the people retreat",to the theory of the elimination of private own-ership,the theory of the departure of the private economy,and then to the storm that the people's economy replaces the market economy,the party and the nation persist in their exploration of the path of the socialist market economy,striving to achieve a more harmonious fusion of efficient markets and proficient governance,ultimately fostering the advancement and expansion of the private sector.During this period,three theoretical issues:the inherent institutional attributes of the pri-vate economy,the optimization of public ownership and multiple ownership structures,and the unique role of private enter-prises in the mixed ownership reform of state-owned enterprises,as well as the three aspects of the business environment,government supervision,and policy continuity and stability,have aroused intense discussions in academia have had an im-portant impact on the high-quality development of the private economy.
