Preparation of waterborne polyurethane modified by organic phosphorus flame retardant
With polybutanediol glycol adipate (PBA),dihydroxymethyl propionate (DMPA),isophorone diisocyanate (IPDI) and 10-(2,5-dihydroxyphenyl)-10-dihydro-9-oxa-10-phosphaphenanthrene-10-oxide (DOPO-HQ) as raw materials,a series of flame-proof waterborne polyurethane (WPU) were synthesized.And the influences of DOPO-HQ contents on WPU's viscosity,hardness,mechanical property and oxygen index (LOI) were investigated.The results showed that the WPU' s viscosity and elongation at break were decreased,film hardness was increased,tensile strengths were increased from 11.02 MPa to 23.76 MPa,and the LOIs were increased from 21.0% to 27.2% (flame retardant grade) while mass fractions of DOPO-HQ in PBA were increased from 0 to 12%.
