College Students'Mental Health under the New Media Environment:Value,Challenge and Countermeasure
As an essential component of students'comprehensive development in sound moral grounding,intellectual ability,physical vigor,aesthetic sensibility and work skills,mental health constitutes a vital aspect for universities to fulfill the educational goal of cultivating more high-caliber talent.The rapid advance of new media has induced new challenges for the mental well-being of college students:"information saturation"may trigger negative emotions,"information cocoons"may result in communication barriers,and public opinion events may cause psychological crises.Moreover,issues such as insufficient attention,flawed working mechanisms,and inadequate experience also influence the mental health initiatives.To address these problems,it is imperative to enhance the coordinated mechanism of"four aspects of responsibility",refine the working framework of"four linking procedure",and harmonize the"five constructions",adhere to the principle of"five educations simultaneously",and safeguard the mental health of college students while fostering their growth and success.
