The Practical Approach to Coordinate Family and School Efforts in Ideological and Political Education at Colleges and Universities
It is common task for both family and high school to fostering virtue through education.From the perspectives of objectives,values and practice dimensions,family-school coordination in ideological and political education bears multi-functions,ie.to cultivate a new generation with unswerving determination,foster virtue through education,and promote social development.In the process of the coordination,there are also the difficulties and challenges ahead especially on the aspects of awareness,content methods and resources.As countermeasure,in the process of education,the following should be done:to strengthen the awareness of ideological and political education in families to strengthen coordination recognition;to update the content and methods of ideological and political education in families to enhance coordination level;to jointly build a cooperative education pattern between families and universities to improve the quality of coordination effects;to nurture a new generation of capable young people who firmly establish and practice core socialist values and are ready to join the socialist cause.
