Research Progress on Effect of Traditional Chinese Medicine on Fatty Liver Hemorrhagic Syndrome in Laying Hens
Fatty liver hemorrhagic syndrome is a common nutritional and metabolic disease in caged laying hens during their peak laying period.It can cause a decrease in egg production and an increase in the culling rate of laying hens.This syndrome often occurs in caged laying hens at the late laying stage,resulting in significant economic losses for the breeding industry,traditional Chinese medicine is the mainstay of clinical prevention and control of this disease at present stage.The article reviewed the pathogenesis of fatty liver syndrome in laying hens and the effects and mechanisms of Chinese medicines and compounds on the disease,which would provide a reference for future research on prevention and control of the fatty liver hemorrhagic syndrome using Chinese medicines.
