鸡是研究发育生物学、免疫学以及传染病学的优良模型,同时是满足人们对肉、蛋需求的重要农业经济动物.近年来,随着全球鸡肉产量与消耗量的不断增长,养禽业对禽病防控、保种育种的需求也随之增加.为此,研究人员结合基因编辑技术制备了转基因鸡或基因编辑鸡,从而更加深入地了解鸡生长发育、免疫抗病机制,为产业实践提供了坚实的理论基础.由于鸡独特的生殖生理特点,无法获取单细胞卵子,难以应用哺乳动物的基因编辑方法.文章综述了现有制备基因编辑鸡的方法及优缺点,并指出了基因编辑鸡制备过程存在的问题,为基因编辑鸡的制备提供参考.
Method and Application of Establishing Gene Edited Chicken
The chicken is an excellent model for the study of developmental biology,immunology and infectious diseases,as well as an important agricultural economic animal to meet people's needs for meat and eggs.In recent years,with the continuous growth of global chicken production and consumption,the poultry industry's demand for avian disease prevention and control,seed preservation and breeding has also increased.Therefore,researchers combined gene editing technology to prepare transgenic chickens or gene-edited chickens,so as to have a deeper understanding of chicken growth and development,immune and disease resistance mechanisms,and providing a solid theoretical basis for industrial practice.Due to the unique reproductive physiological characteristics of chickens,single-cell eggs cannot be obtained,and it is difficult to apply mammalian gene editing methods.Here,the advantages and disadvantages of the existing methods of preparing gene-edited chicken were summarized,the existing problems in the preparation process of gene-edited chickens were pointed out,which provided reference for the preparation of gene-edited chicken.
