Dry pericardiocentesis,as a key technology for establishing epicardial access, has been widely used in treating complex arrhythmias mediated by epicardial access, such as ventricular tachycardia, since it was first reported in 1996.In recent years, with the gradual promotion and popularization of ventricular arrhythmia ablation across the country, the clinical demand for this technology is increasing fast. However, dry pericardiocentesis is extremely challenging, and puncture-related complications are often encountered, posing a huge threat to the patient's life safety. This article reports a case of cardiac tamponade caused by damage to a coronary artery branch during dry pericardiocentesis.By timely intra-coronary balloon dilation for compression and hemostasis, the patient's life risk was successfully relieved, and it provides a valuable clinical experience for the treatment of similar cases in future clinical cases.
