Lumbar disc herniation(LDH)is one of the common orthopedic diseases in the clinic.In recent years,with the development of minimally invasive spinal surgery,the transforaminal endoscopic surgery system(TESSYS)is widely used in the treatment of lumbar disc herniation due to its small incision,minimizing injury and rapid postoperative recovery.However,some patients have developed postopera-tive residual symptoms in varying degrees after endoscopic treatment,and the specific mechanism of their occurrence is not fully understood,and the choice of the best treatment mode remains controversial.This article reviews the research on postoperative residual symptoms in re-cent years,analyzes the causes and related treatment measures to provide a reference for the clinical management of postoperative residual symptoms.
