Objective To analyze of the final test paper of pharmacology in clinical medicine from a local university. Methods In July 2022,142 final papers of pharmacology in clinical medicine 2020 were collected with 140 valid papers, including 66 papers in class 1 of clinical medicine 2020 and 74 papers in class 2 of clinical medicine 2020.The students'test scores were analyzed by the principles of educational measurement, including the difficulty, discrimination, reliability and validity of the test paper.T he principal component analysis and K-means clustering analysis in data mining algorithm were used. Results The overall difficulty of the test paper was 0.58,the discrimination was 0.34,and the reliability was 0.80.The average score of all students was(58.2±13.9)points,which was in line with the normal distribution, and there was no significant difference between the two classes(P>0.05).The principal component analysis found that there were two dimensions that affected the score of the test paper, which were different in different classes;K-means clustering divided students of different levels according to the assessment knowledge points. Conclusion The test paper has analytical value.Students in different classes have different knowledge of each chapter of pharmacology, and the teaching effect needs to be improved. This examination paper analysis provides empirical evidence for the follow-up improvement of course teaching and personnel training quality.
