Objective To explore the application effect of scenario simulation combined with problem-based learning(PBL)teaching method in scoliosis training.Methods A total of 40 students who participated in the regular training in the orthopaedics department of Affiliated Hospital of Nantong University from January 2020 to December 2021 were taken as the research objects,and were randomly divided into the control group(n=20,given PBL teaching method)and the observation group(n=20,given scenario simulation combined PBL teaching method).Results In terms of assessment scores,there was no statistically significant difference between the first two groups of trainees in the residential training(P>0.05).After the residential training,the observation group's theoretical and practical scores were(91.04±3.14)points and(92.33±3.57)points,respectively,higher than(81.75±2.97)points and(82.64±2.69)points of the control group.In addition,the comprehensive score of the observation group was(91.47±3.26)points,which was higher than(82.01±2.54)points of the control group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).There was a statistically significant difference between the observation group and the control group in terms of satisfaction with residential training teaching(95.00%vs.55.00%)(P<0.05).In terms of comprehensive ability evaluation,the total score of the observation group students was(89.46±1.17)points,which was higher than(70.27±1.22)points of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion In the scoliosis training teaching,the implementation of scenario simulation combined with PBL teaching method can effectively improve the students'theoretical knowledge level and practical operation ability,and the students'comprehensive ability is significantly improved.
