The Application of MDT Combined With CBL Teaching Model in the Clinical Education of Gastrointestinal Tumor Surgery
Objective This study is to explore the practical application effect of multidisciplinary team(MDT)combined with case-based learning(CBL)teaching mode in the clinical education of gastrointestinal tumor surgery.Methods A total of 62 trainees who received standardized resident doctor training in the Affiliated Cancer Hospital of Guangxi Medical University from January 2020 to December 2021 were selected as the study objects,and randomly divided into the observation group and the control group,with 26 participants in each group.The observation group adopted the MDT combined CBL teaching method,and the control group adopted the lecture based learning(LBL)teaching method,and analyzed the teaching effect of the two groups by examination and questionnaire.Results The results of case analysis,theoretical knowledge and skill operation in the observation group were higher than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The satisfaction of the observation group was better than that of the control group in stimulating learning interest,active classroom atmosphere,improving reading guide and literature ability,improving independent thinking ability,exercising clinical thinking,cultivating teamwork ability and continuing to accept the teaching mode,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion MDT+CBL teaching model can cultivate students'learning interest,improve their abilities in reading guide and literature,independent thinking,clinical thinking and teamwork.Therefore,the teaching effect is good.
