Application Analysis of Flipped Classroom in Gynecological Nursing Teaching
Objective To explore the application effect of flipped classroom in gynecological nursing teaching. Methods A total of 64 nursing students who interned at Yantai Affiliated Hospital of Binzhou Medical University from June 2020 to September 2021 were selected and randomly divided into two groups, with 32 students in each group. The control group was given traditional teaching methods, while the observation group was given flipped classroom in gynecological nursing teaching. The assessment scores,self-directed learning abilities, and satisfaction with the teaching mode between two groups of students were compared. Results The assessment scores of the observation group were higher than those of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no statistically significant difference in self-directed learning ability between the two groups of students before teaching(P>0.05).After the observation group completed teaching, the scores of each dimension in the self-rating scale of self-directed learning(SRSS-DL)for nursing students were higher than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The satisfaction of the observation group students with the teaching mode that can stimulate learning interest, improve communication and expression abilities, improve problem analysis and solving abilities, increase teacher-student interaction, improve memory effects, enhance divergent and logical thinking abilities, cultivate teamwork awareness, and improve clinical thinking abilities were higher than that of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Applying flipped classroom to gynecological teaching can enhance students'self-directed learning ability, improve assessment scores, and ultimately achieve higher teaching satisfaction.
