Application of Preoperative Theoretical Knowledge Discussion Combined With Intraoperative Participation Teaching Model in Orthopaedic Clinical Internship Teaching
Objective To explore the application effect of preoperative theoretical knowledge discussion combined with intraoperative participation teaching mode in orthopedic clinical internship teaching. Methods A total of 40 medical students who were interned in the orthopaedic specialty in the class of 2017 in the Second Clinical Medical College of Lanzhou University from May to July 2022 were selected and divided into the experimental group(n=20)and the control group(n=20),and the experimental group was taught by preoperative theoretical knowledge discussion combined with intraoperative participation teaching mode for internship teaching, while the control group was taught by traditional teaching method for internship teaching. At the end of the teaching, the teaching effect was evaluated by theoretical assessment, practical assessment and questionnaire survey. Results The experimental group students'theoretical assessment scores, practical performance assessment scores and total scores were better than those of the control group[(88.50±4.15)points vs.(84±3.57)points;(82.10±5.20)points vs.(75.40±4.15)points;(170.60±7.11)points vs.(159.40±3.98)points],the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The teaching scores of the experimental group were higher than those of the control group in all indicators, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Preoperative theoretical knowledge discussion combined with intraoperative participation teaching mode can help to improve the teaching effect and quality of orthopedic clinical internship, and can be applied in the future teaching.
