Objective To explore a blended teaching mode based on MOOC in teaching electrocardiogram(ECG)and analyze its effect. Methods A total of 91 undergraduates majoring in clinical medicine in the First Clinical College of Jinan University from March to July 2021 were selected as the study objects.A blended teaching mode based on MOOC was introduced into the processes of teaching ECG from March to July in 2021.The final examination,ECG interpretation skills test and questionnaire were used to analyze the effect. Results The scores of theories and ECG interpretation skills test were(21.00±3.89)points and(19.33±4.63)points respectively. On the theoretical test, the accuracy about basic knowledge was less than 50%,and 50%of the students identified ventricular fibrillation. The results of ECG interpretation skills test showed that the accuracy of rhythm, heart rate and other basic parameters were higher than 90%in most cases, while the accuracy of conclusion was low.More than 75%of the students thought that MOOC was very helpful in learning ECG,and the 15 questions in ECG interpretation training was helpful for understanding the key points of analysis.83.15%of the students thought they had mastered the main points of ECG interpretation, and 8.99%were proficient. Conclusion The blended teaching mode based on MOOC is very helpful for students to master ECG interpretation skills. The basic parameters of ECG had been mastered well, but abnormal features need to be strengthened in future.
