Objective To explore the feasibility and implementation effect of the three-direction talent cultivation model in the practice of innovation and entrepreneurship education for medical students. Methods From June 2020 to June 2022,a total of 85 undergraduates majoring in anesthesiology in the First Affiliated Hospital of Nanchang University were selected as research objects and divided into control group and the test group according to different training modes. The control group of 43 subjects implemented traditional teaching mode;the test group of 42 implemented the"three-oriented"talent training model.Statistical analysis of students'examination(including theory examination and skill examination)scores,"three orientation"scores and satisfaction degree of innovation and entrepreneurship. Results The theoretical scores and skill scores of the control group were(75.35±7.47)points and(91.37±2.47)points,which were higher than those of the test group[(81.12±7.14)points and(94.76±2.80)points],and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The scores of practicing ability, professional spirit and social adjustment in control group were(32.47±5.05)points,(31.19±4.26)points and(24.58±3.09)points,which were higher than those in test group[(39.00±4.93)points,(36.57±2.93)points and(27.26±2.44)points].The difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The satisfaction scores of scientific research interest, teaching effect and willingness to participate in innovation and entrepreneurship activities in test groups were higher than those in control group, with statistical significance(P<0.05).Conclusion The adoption of the three-direction talent cultivation model is more capable of driving medical undergraduates to practice innovation and entrepreneurship education, and more capable of improving students'comprehensive quality ability.
