Application of Flipped Classroom in Obstetrics and Gynecology Clinical Skills Teaching Under the Background of Internet
Objective To explore the effect of flipped classroom teaching method in obstetrics and gynecology clinical skills teaching under the background of Internet.Methods A total of 63 undergraduate interns majoring in clinical medicine who participated in undergraduate clinical skills training at Zhongshan Clinical College of Dalian University from July to October 2022 were randomly divided into a study group and a control group,with 31 undergraduate interns in the study group and 32 in the control group.The teaching methods were flipped classroom teaching under the Internet and traditional skills training,respectively.After the training,the teaching effectiveness was evaluated through skill assessment and student learning satisfaction survey questionnaire.Results The scores of the two clinical skills"gynecological examination"and"four-step palpation"in the study group were higher than those in the control group,and the differences was statistically significant(P<0.05).Students in the study group had higher satisfaction than those in the control group in the 3 aspects of"getting one-to-one guidance from the teacher in the teaching process,correcting the detailed errors in the operation process""facilitating mobile learning,using fragmented time for learning and timely consolidation and review"and"improving the learning effect of skills",the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Flipped classroom teaching method under the background of Internet has good teaching effect in obstetrics and gynecology clinical skills teaching.
