Study on the Construction Method and Application Effect of the Ideological and Political Case Database in the Course of Occupational Therapy
Objective To explore the construction method and application effect of the ideological and political case library for occupational therapy courses.Methods A total of 144 students majoring in rehabilitation therapy from September 2020 to June 2021 at the rehabilitation medicine school of Jiamusi University were selected as the study subjects.They were divided into a control group and an observation group based on their grades.The control group of 74 students in grade 2020 of the control group were taught by conventional methods,and 70 students in grade 2021 of the observation group were taught by constructing ideological and political case database of occupational therapy course on the basis of control group.Both groups completed three months of teaching,and compared the comprehensive teaching scores,teaching effectiveness,and teaching satisfaction of the two groups.Results After 3 months of teaching,the formative assessment[(91.58±6.34)points]and the scores of the second class(including clinical operation skills and final exam scores)[(90.19±5.96)points]of the observation group were higher than those of the control group,with statistical significance(P<0.05).After 3 months of teaching,the observation group showed higher satisfaction with the demand for ideological and political materials(97.14%),existing teaching models for ideological and political education(98.57%),teaching achievements related to ideological and political education(97.14%),professional ethics(95.71%),professional literacy related to behavioral habits(98.57%),and professional ethics and scientific beliefs(97.14%)compared to the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion The successful construction of an ideological and political case library for occupational therapy courses and its application to rehabilitation therapy majors can help improve students'comprehensive grades and teaching effectiveness,and achieve high teaching satisfaction.
