Practice and Reflection on the Teaching of Endoscopic Submucosal Dissection by Endoscopists
Endoscopic submucosal dissection(ESD)is the current preferred minimally invasive treatment for early gastrointestinal cancer, which is difficult to be operated and is a hot spot and difficulty in endoscopic teaching and training in China. In this study,a standardized ESD training program was set up for young endoscopic physicians who had mastered gastrointestinal endoscope techniques. The training period was 12 weeks, including theoretical training, clinical observation, simple isolated porcine stomach model training, real patient practice operation, and graduation examination.According to questionnaire survey,100%of trainees thought that standardized ESD training is very necessary to master ESD technology, and it could significantly improve the trainees'ESD operation level. Therefore, the overall ESD standardized training process of the Endoscopy Center of the First Affiliated Hospital of Chongqing Medical University is set reasonably, which provides certain reference for the teaching and training of endoscopists in China.
