Physical examination,a basic skill that every physician requires,plays an irreplaceable role in clinical diagnosis and treatment.As the first stage of doctors'clinical work,standardized training of resident physicians is a critical period for doctors to become proficient in physical examination.However,with the wide utilization of auxiliary medical devices,most residents neglect the routine practice and training of physical examination in their clinical work.By analyzing the issues in the physical examination training,this article discusses how to improve the physical examination skills for residents from the perspectives of stimulating the internal motivation of residents,strengthening the training of physical examination in teaching hospitals,and improving the feed back system of physical examination.It is of great significance to strengthen the implementation and training of physical examination in the clinical work of residents,which can ameliorate the doctor-patient relationships and improve clinical diagnosis and treatment.
