Application of Phased Goal Teaching Combined With PDCA Cycle in Standardized Training of Nurses in the Intensive Care Unit
Objective To explore the application effect of phased goal teaching combined with PDCA cycle in clinical teaching of standardized training for nurses in the intensive care unit(ICU).Methods A control group of 26 nurses who received standardized training in ICU of Chongqing General Hospital from February 2019 to February 2021 were selected, and the traditional teaching method was adopted. From March 2021 to March 2023,a research group consisted of 32 nurses who received standardized training in ICU of Chongqing General Hospital. The study adopted a phased goal teaching combined with PDCA cycle teaching method. After 3 months of teaching, compare the theoretical assessment scores, operational assessment scores, comprehensive abilities, and teaching satisfaction of two groups of standardized training for nurses. Results The study group achieved theoretical assessment scores(85.87±3.11),operational assessment scores(94.28±1.54),comprehensive ability scores(88.59±1.94),and teaching satisfaction scores(90.75±2.60),while the control group achieved theoretical assessment scores(77.73±4.49),operational assessment scores(91.73±1.73),comprehensive ability scores(82.96±1.84),and teaching satisfaction scores(85.42±2.80).The study group was significantly better than the control group in all aspects, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.001).Conclusion The combination of phased goal teaching and PDCA cycle not only can help improve the teaching performance and comprehensive ability of nurses in ICU,but also improve the quality of clinical teaching, and increase teaching satisfaction.
