Application of WeChat Combined With PBL Teaching Method in Emergency Clinical Teaching
Objective To explore the value of WeChat combined with PBL teaching method in emergency clinical teaching.Methods From January 2021 to January 2022,a total of 48 interns in emergency department from Inner Mongolia Medical University Affiliated Hospital were selected and randomly divided into 2 groups,with 24 students in each group.The control group received PBL teaching,while the observation group received WeChat combined with PBL teaching method.The assessment scores,improvement in various abilities,and satisfaction with teaching methods of the two groups were compared.Results The learning motivation scores of the observation group after teaching,including external and internal motivation scores,were higher than those of the control group,and the difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).The theoretical scores and skill assessment scores of the interns in observation group were higher than those of the control group,with statistical significance(P<0.05).The interns in observation group had higher abilities in all aspects than the control group(P<0.05).The satisfaction rate of the interns in observation group with teaching methods(100%)was higher than that of the control group(70.83%),with statistical significance(P<0.05).Conclusion The application of WeChat combined with PBL teaching method in emergency clinical teaching has obvious effect in emergency clinical teaching,which can improve the assessment performance and ability of interns,and interns are satisfied with the teaching method.
