Application of Blended Teaching Model Based on OBE in Oral Biology
Objective To explore the application of blended teaching model based on OBE(outcome-based education)in the course teaching oral biology.Methods From September 2019 to December 2020,a total of 169 undergraduate students majoring in stomatology from Hebei Medical University in 2016 and 2017 were selected as the research subjects.A total of 88 undergraduate students in the field of dentistry in 2016 were included in the control group,while 81 undergraduate students in the field of dentistry in 2017 were included in the experimental group.The control group adopted a traditional teaching mode dominated by teacher lectures.The experimental group adopted a blended learning model based on the OBE concept,and designed teaching objectives and classroom modes.After the teaching were completed,the teaching effectiveness of the two teaching modes based on comprehensive scores(theoretical written test,skill operation,and daily performance)were evaluate.Results The average score of the experimental group(90.89±4.56)points was higher than that of the control group(84.64±5.86)points,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The blended teaching model based on OBE has a positive effect on improving students'comprehensive quality and teaching efficiency.
