Application of PBL Combined With CBL Teaching Method in Ophthalmology Teaching
Objective To analyze the impact of problem-based learning(PBL)combined with case-based learning(CBL)teaching mode on the teaching effect of ophthalmology.Methods A total of 100 clinical undergraduate students who received the teaching of Ophthalmology in the department of ophthalmology,Zunyi Medical University from March 2018 to June 2019 were selected as the research objects.50 students who received CBL teaching were randomly selected as the CBL group,and 50 students who received PBL combined with CBL teaching were selected as the PBL combined with CBL group.The"Ophthalmology"exams of the two groups of students were collected,and the exam scores and subjective question answers of the two groups of students were compared.Results The average score of the CBL teaching group was lower than that of the PBL combined CBL teaching group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The total score of the CBL teaching group was slightly lower than that of the PBL combined with CBL teaching group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The subjective score of the CBL teaching group was lower than that of the PBL combined CBL teaching group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The subjective question answering performance of the PBL combined with CBL teaching group was significantly better than that of the CBL teaching group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The teaching method of combining PBL and CBL is of great significance for clinical teaching in ophthalmology and is worth referring to.
