Application of Single Disease PBL Teaching Method Based on MDT Concept in Gastroenterology Teaching
Objective To explore the applicative value of PBL teaching method based with MDT and single-disease model in digestive intern teaching.Methods A total of clinical medical undergraduate students who interned in the department of gastroenterology at Yantai Affiliated Hospital of Binzhou Medical College from March 2021 to September 2022 were randomly divided into a control group and an experimental group,with 30 students in each group.The control group of internship students were used traditional teaching methods,while the experimental group of internship students were used MDT's single disease PBL teaching method.After the internship,both groups of students were underwent theoretical and skill exams,and their teaching satisfaction was evaluated.Results After the internship,the theoretical and operational exam scores of the experimental group students were higher than those of the control group students,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).In terms of teaching satisfaction,the satisfaction of the experimental group students is higher than that of the control group students.Conclusion PBL teaching method combined with MDT and single-disease model can significantly improve the theoretical and operational ability as well as the teaching satisfaction for digestive interns.This is a very useful intern teaching method which is worth to popularize.
