Objective To investigate the value of three-dimensional(3D)reconstruction visualization technology in standardized residency training of learning liver Couinaud segment. Methods From July 2020 to June 2022,a total of 60 standardized residency training residents from the department of general surgery in the Second Affiliated Hospital of Xi'an Jiaotong University were selected and randomly divided into control group(n=20),test group 1(n=20)and test group 2(n=20).In the control group, reading of CT or MRI images combined with surgical videos were used for learning the liver Couinaud segment; In test group 1,the liver CT and MRI were read first, then the 3D images and the videos were used.In test group 2,the 3D images were read first, then the CT and MRI and the videos were used. After the training, important vessels of liver,Couinaud segmentation and satisfaction were evaluated using the evaluation scores and questionnaires. Results The accuracy of Couinaud paragraph 8 in experimental group 1 and experimental group 2 was better than that in control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The time required for trial groups 1 and 2 to answer all questions[(10.80±1.94)min;(8.60±1.79)min]was less than the control group[(16.45±1.76)min],and the difference between the two experimental groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).The understanding degree of Couinaud segment and the satisfaction degree of teaching method in experimental group 1 and experimental group 2 were higher than those in control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.001).Conclusion The teaching method based on 3D technology can improve the understanding and practice ability of standardized residency training residents on the liver Counaud segment, and achieve satisfactory teaching results.
