Curriculum ideology and politics is the basic requirement of the Ministry of Education for the colleges and universities.It is also an important way for colleges and universities to achieve the goal of setting up morality and cultivating people and it is a major political task and strategic project.Under the background of new medicine,medical educators should adapt to the development of the times,expand themselves,and improve the level of professional education and ideological and political education.The paper summarizes the problems in the curriculum ideology and politics at present,explores the measures to improve the education of curriculum ideology and politics,excavates and summarizes the ideological and political elements in each chapter of Pediatrics,insisting on"student-centered"and integrating ideological and political education into professional teaching of Pediatrics to cultivate students'feelings of home and country,sense of social responsibility,and the scientific spirit of seeking truth and being pragmatic,positive and innovative,and hope to provide help to medical educators,especially pediatric educators.
