The general practitioner undertakes the important task of making the first outpatient visit.Teaching clinic is very important for training general practitioners with rigorous clinical thinking,standardized diagnosis and treatment ability and post competence.This paper introduces the concept,function and common mode of teaching clinic.Among them,supervised teaching clinic is a kind of teaching mode led by residents and guided by teachers,which has higher teaching significance.However,there are still some problems in the teaching clinic that need to be improved and optimized.This article summarizes and introduces the practice experience of our hospital in teaching clinic.We put forward improving measures such as increasing the time of outpatient rotation,improving the level of teachers'resources,strengthening the awareness of stratification teaching,restricting the number source of reasonable scheduling,combining ward and outpatient teaching,and doing a good job in the whole process of teaching and outpatient management.It provides an important reference for the promotion of teaching clinic to improve the comprehensive ability of general practitioners.
