Objective To investigate the application effect of online and offline in-depth integration teaching model in periodontology teaching.Methods From March to July 2022,a total of 116 students majoring in dentistry from a certain university in Anhui Province were selected as the research subjects.The experimental group were adopted an integrated online and offline teaching mode,while the reference group were adopted a traditional teaching mode.After the course was completed,a questionnaire survey was conducted to compare the exam scores of the two groups of students and understand their teaching satisfaction.Results The test score of the experimental group was(82.03±13.55)points,higher than that of the reference group[(73.88±10.12)points],and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).In terms of teaching evaluation,more than 80%students were satisfied with various aspects of the integrated online and offline teaching mode.Conclusion The online and offline integrated teaching mode can significantly enhance students'learning interest in periodontology,enhance their practical operation ability,and improve the teaching quality of the course.
