Application of PBL Teaching Method Based on Bibliometric Analysis in Geriatric Medicine Teaching in China
Objective To explore the application and development of problem-based learning(PBL)in geriatrics education of China by bibliometric analysis.Methods The literatures on the application of PBL in geriatrics education screened from 2008 to 2022 in China national knowledge infrastructure were enrolled.And the annual publication volume,teaching direction,combined teaching mode and assessment method of which were analyzed.Results In recent years,the publication number of PBL related articles have generally showed a fluctuating upward trend.According to the statistical analysis,PBL was applied in theoretical teaching(12 articles),and practical teaching(14 articles),and was gradually combined with other teaching methods such as case-based learning(12 articles),evidence-based medicine(5 articles)and network new media teaching(5 articles),concept of humanistic quality(3 articles).Conclusion PBL is a widely used and effective teaching method in geriatrics.How to combine with other innovative teaching models,and to establish an ideal assessment system for PBL are urgent problems to be solved.
