Application of TBL Combined With PBL Teaching Method in Teaching Ward Rounds of Gastrointestinal Surgery
Objective To analyze the application effect of team-led teaching method(TBL)combined with problem-led teaching method(CBL)in gastrointestinal surgery teaching rounds.Methods From January 2021 to January 2023,a total of 60 interns from the department of gastroenterology at the First Affiliated Hospital of Harbin Medical University were randomly divided into two groups using a double-blind method.The control group(n=30)were received routine teaching,while the observation group(n=30)were received TBL combined with PBL teaching method.The theoretical performance and practical skills of two groups of interns were compared.Results After the internship,the theoretical scores and practical abilities of the observation group were higher than those of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The learning awareness,learning behavior,learning strategies,learning evaluation,and interpersonal relationship learning ability of the observation group were higher than those of the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The interns in the observation group scored higher than those in the control group in identifying crisis symptoms,medical intervention measures,team division of labor and cooperation,and treatment completion time,with statistical significance(P<0.05).The satisfaction rate of the observation group with this teaching evaluation was 96.67%,which was higher than the control group's 73.33%,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion TBL combined with PBL teaching method can improve the practical skills of interns and achieve better theoretical results,which is worthy of application.
