Research on the Construction and Effect Evaluation of the Competency Model of General Practitioners
Objective To evaluate the effect of the post competency quality model of standardized training for resident doctors in general practice(shortened to"resident training").Methods A total of 163 resident training trainees, resident training instructors, and resident training management personnel who received standardized training at the General Practice Standardization Training Base of Binzhou People's Hospital in Shandong Province from April 2019 to April 2023 were selected as the survey subjects. All survey subjects were informed and agreed.Based on expert discussions, construct a competency model for general practitioners in residential training positions. Results A total of 163 general practitioners were surveyed for three rounds of residency training, including 80 residency training trainees,3 management personnel, and 80 guidance and teaching staff.99 undergraduate students,61 master's students, and 3 doctoral students. The Cronbach coefficient was used to test the reliability of the questionnaire, with a reliability coefficient of 0.96,indicating good reliability.Conducted a model suitability test(Kaiser Meyer Olkin,KMO)on the questionnaire, with a KMO value of 0.842.Statistical analysis showed that there was a correlation between the data, and factor analysis could be performed on it.The weight of medical knowledge and clinical skills was 0.22,the weight of communication and cooperation ability was 0.20,the weight of patient service ability was 0.18,the weight of scientific research and teaching ability was 0.08,and the weight of management and coordination ability and professional spirit was 0.16.Conclusion The theory of clinical competency analysis can form comprehensive evaluation indicators, provide new ideas for clinical standardized training, comprehensively evaluate the ability level of resident physicians, and provide reference for the improvement of training work for general practice resident physicians in hospitals.
