Application Effect of Mini-CEX Combined MDT in Standardized Training of Residents in Emergency Department
Objective To explore the application effect of mini-clinical evaluation exercise(Mini-CEX)combined with multidisciplinary team(MDT)in standardized training of residents in emergency department. Methods For residents selected to receive standardized training in the emergency department of the hospital, those who received standardized training from June to August 2022 were the traditional training group, and those who received standardized training from September to November 2022 were the Mini-CEX combined MDT group. The traditional training group of 35 resident physicians was given conventional teaching methods, and the Mini-CEX combined with MDT group of 35 resident physicians resident physicians was given Mini-CEX combined with MDT teaching. After the completion of teaching, the theoretical achievements and practical skills of standardized training residents were evaluated. Before and after teaching,Mini-CEX was used to assess the questioning ability, clinical diagnosis ability, operation ability, physical examination ability, treatment plan and communication ability of the standardized training residents, and CTDI-CV and students'autonomous learning ability evaluation scale were given to evaluate the teaching satisfaction of the two groups. Results The scores of theoretical knowledge and practical skills of Mini-CEX combined with MDT group were higher than those of traditional training group(P<0.001).The scores of inquiry ability, clinical diagnosis, operation ability, physical examination ability, treatment plan and communication ability of Mini-CEX combined with MDT group were higher than those of traditional training group(P<0.001).The CTDI-CV score of Mini-CEX combined with MDT group was lower than that of traditional training group, and the score of autonomous learning ability and teaching satisfaction were higher than that of traditional training group(P<0.001).The teaching satisfaction of Mini-CEX combined with MDT group(97.14%)was higher than that of traditional training group(85.71%),and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The application of Mini-CEX combined with MDT teaching in the standardized training of emergency department residents can improve the theoretical and practical performance of standardized training residents, improve their comprehensive clinical ability, critical thinking ability,self-learning ability and teaching satisfaction.
