Application of Mini-CEX Combined With DOPS Teaching in Obstetric Nursing Teaching
Objective To explore the application effect of mini-clinical exercise evaluation(Mini-CEX)and direct observation of procedural skills(DOPS)in the teaching of obstetric nursing interns.Methods A total of 112 obstetrical nursing interns from February to December 2022 were selected and divided into study group and control group according to random number table method,with 56 in each group.The control group was given routine nursing teaching,while the study group was given Mini-CEX combined with DOPS teaching.After 2 months of practice,Mini-CEX and DOPS assessment were conducted on the interns in both groups,and the self-made satisfaction questionnaire was used to investigate the opinions of the interns and evaluate the teaching satisfaction.Results The scores of Mini-CEX in the study group were higher than those in the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.001).The total score of DOPS in the study group[(90.12±3.26)points]was higher than that in the control group[(81.15±3.12)points],and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.001).The satisfaction of obstetric interns in the study group(94.64%)was higher than that in the control group(78.57%),and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The effect of Mini-CEX combined with DOPS in obstetric nursing teaching is satisfactory,which can improve the satisfaction of interns.
