The Application Prospect of VR Technology in Clinical Gynecology Education
The highly developed information society has put forward new requirements for contemporary higher education,and how to make up for the inadequacy of traditional educational methods is a new challenge in teaching clinical obstetrics and gynaecology.Virtual reality(VR)technology,with its three characteristics of interactivity,immersion and imagination,improves intuitiveness,accuracy and real time to the user's sensory world.VR technology provides a new way of thinking for expanding the teaching method of clinical gynecology and brings about a transformative development.This paper explains the concept and characteristics of VR technology,and reviews the current situation of VR technology in medical education,analyzes the application advantages of VR technology in clinical gynecology education from multiple dimensions,summarizes the shortcomings of VR technology in the field of medical science,and looks forward to its development prospects in clinical gynecology teaching.
