Blended learning is a combination of offline and online learning,which combines the advantages of traditional teaching and independent learning,teamwork and independent thinking,online and face-to-face learning.In recent years,due to its obvious advantages and learning effects,blended learning has been applied more and more widely in the field of medical education,and its application in medical research education has also been valued.Blended learning has been widely used in medical research,such as literature retrieval and reading,experimental operation and thesis writing,and its teaching forms tend to be diversified.Compared with other learning modes,blended learning has the advantages of initiative,flexibility,interaction,etc.However,as a new learning method,it inevitably has limitations in technology and cost.This article reviews the concept of blended learning in medical research education,the comparison between blended learning and other teaching modes,and the application progress,advantages and limitations of blended learning in medical research field.
